On Nov. 8 (Saturday) at 9:00 we will meet with the Montgomery County Forest
Conservation Coordinator to go over DEP's tree planting in front of houses 
and to discuss a community tree planting at the right-of-way at the corner of
Blueridge and Channning. The Forest Conservation Coordinator will be surveying 
our community right before our 9:00 a.m. meeting, so she doesn't know yet which 
homes will be getting the new trees.  By  9:00 a.m., she should have the 
tree survey completed.  Also, DEP has put a hold on planting trees under power lines.  
If there is a power line going over your property, and you really want a new tree, 
the Forest Conservation Coordinator will look at your property and decide if an 
exemption can be made.
