End-of-Winter Hike

 This Saturday, Feb. 28
  
 Mike will lead the way and John will note interesting features of Sligo
 Creek Park.
   
  There's no better way to get a feel for the whole of Sligo than this walk.
  It combines exploring from head to toe with notes on plants, animals, and
  geology from an expert naturalist.
   
  We think this is not to be missed!
    
   
  Meet at 8:30 am at the Kemp Mill shopping center, Arcola and Lamberton
  Drive, to set up a car shuttle. 
   
  Walk till lunchtime, or continue to the confluence. Or pick up the group
  in your section. The hike is about eight miles and will be at a leisurely
  pace.
  Bring snacks, a bag lunch, and drink.
  If there's a chance of rain, bring rain gear.
